Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- China, which has doubled silver use in the past four years, will record a 13 percent rise in consumption of the precious metal this year as the nation's economic growth spurs demand for jewelry.
Demand for silver, also used in electronics and films, will rise to 2,600 metric tons from 2,300 tons last year, Chen Haoran, chairman of China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemical Importers and Exporters, today told a conference in Lijiang, Yunnan province…
